Amali is from a poor family who wants to find employment overseas. In order to the employment agency she pretends to be a wife of a soldier believed to have died in battle. After going through many risky episodes, she obtains the necessary documentation. However, with the news that this soldier who is missing in action is actually not dead, Amali faces a new set of unexpected situations that threatens her existence.
