Two bank employees face problems after marrying very attractive women.
Mumbai-based Santosh Singh gets married to much taller, Kota-based Shanti. He is employed with Oracle Bank as a Cashier, and is friendly with the Manager, Prem, who has also recently married Khushi. Santosh is generally misunderstood, gets upset easily - especially when Shanti accuses him of taking some wedding gifts as dowry, and blames the Khuranas for his plight. He envies other men and fantasizes about being married to an understanding wife. While Prem does not talk much about his marriage, but his relationship is not harmonious either - as Khushi is very jealous, possessive, and insecure. Things get only worse after Santosh starts to fantasize about Khushi; Shanti prepares to leave him after finding out he is having an affair with his colleague, Shivani; and the police arrest him for molesting a bar dancer.—rAjOo ([email protected])
Rama Rama Kya Hai Dramaaa follows the rules and guidelines of Comedies. Although the topic it touches is serious in nature, director S. Chandrakant weaves humor in the plot so that the goings-on don't get heavy at any point.
The story of Rama Rama Kya Hai Dramaaa revolves around three married couples -- Prem and Khushi, Santosh and Shanti and Mr. and Mrs. Khurana. Santosh marries Shanti, a small-town girl, and later realizes that Shanti is not the 'perfect wife'. Petty differences start popping up and Santosh starts day-dreaming and imaging other women as his wives. Khushi is dominating and demanding. She is the husband in the marriage and Prem is the wife. Prem cannot take this anymore and their marraige hits the rocks. They seperate and both of them start leaving seperately. Mr. and Mrs. Khurana also have differences in their married life which are difficult to reconcile.
Prem and Khushi and Santosh and Shanti start living separately.Its very simple to take a abrupt decision of staying seperately. But the realities are different. Lot of incidents occur in their respective lives and all the three couples realize the importance and value of each other is what the story of the film is all about.
On the whole, Rama Rama Kya Hai Dramaaa is a laugh-riot and a fair entertainer.You continue to smile, not squirm, as the reels unfold! You leave the cinema hall with a smile on your face.
