Sina is a middle-class sixteen-year-old growing up in Tehran. His previously idyllic life becomes fractured, however, when his parents announce their impending divorce. Adding to his sense of abandonment is the threat of a local thug who believes that Sina owes him money. In the face of his parent's constant absence, Sina has no one to turn to, and in a defiant act of rebellion, he allows an older girl, Nahid, to temporarily move in with him. A thoughtful coming-of-age story about the prospect of making difficult choices that potentially threaten your very body and soul.—IMVBox.com
