In Raga for the Light, we take a train journey through India on our way to meet the narrator's grandparents. Along the way, we hear stories and memories of the grandparents and their house, along with their voices in conversation and letters they have written. When we finally arrive at the house, we are confronted with the presence of absence, discovering that the journey has been a journey through memory, and an intertwined past, present, and future. Raga for the Light is an experimental documentary that combines video and Super 8 film to explore movement, memory, and the relationship between physical transit and layers of time.—Anonymous
