The regulars of the Hollywood bar "Public Domain" share their experiences and lives with each other while drinking or working at the bar where everybody is a once popular character that has fallen into the public domain.
PUBLIC DOMAIN is a Hollywood adjacent bar run by former child star Shep Salazar that caters towards intellectual properties whose copyrights have since expired and they've fallen into the public domain. His staff includes beloved characters Dorothy (Wizard of Oz), Frankenstein, Cthulhu and Quasimodo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), but is quickly rounded out by Wendy Darling (Peter Pan). Along with their regular patrons - which include Santa, John Carter, Sherlock Holmes, King Arthur and more - they attempt to navigate the world at large as famous characters who happen to have fallen out of vogue with mainstream media. Trouble arises when Sydney Salmon, an opportunistic film producer, begins sniffing around looking for vulnerable intellectual property to exploit. When he signs Hercules to a studio contract, it inadvertently opens the flood gates and changes all of their lives forever.
