The life of a young couple in love is damaged by the man's insane, treacherous and jealous brother, after he separates their daughter from them.

Raquel (Maria Ribeiro) is a young woman who is trying to escape from the harassment of her ex-husband. Geryon (André Segatti), one of Lopo's thugs can't forget about her. She will work in Teresa's beach side stall and live a love triangle with Rafa, who she believes to be in love with, and Gabriel (Théo Becker) who is in love for her. Dr. Victor (Paulo Figueiredo) is a powerful industrialist and father of Lopo. He cannot get over his late wife and also gets involved in a love triangle with widows Beatriz (Paul Gaultier) and Teresa (Claudia Alencar), both in their 50's. The soap opera also shows the love story between Janice (Fernanda Nobre), a secretary and social assistant and her boss, Dr. Alexander (Deo Garcez). He is a black man and by his own efforts managed to become a respectable judge. Padilha (André Mattos) is a taxi driver and Marília (Maria Ceiça) sells plants.They are neighbors of Old Gui. Their daughter, Lucy (Jess Sodré), is a rebellious teenager who gets involved with the villain Lopo.
