The Story Behind The Concert
The 10 Episodes is set in ONE DAY, happening in real time, so to speak. From the bands and groups sound-checking to the actual concert. It is about the people involved in making a concert. A concert second to none: PROJEK POP. The concert has indie rock bands and hip hop groups headlining it. The show is littered with cameos by musicians and celebrities appearing as themselves. Inspired by movies like Almost Famous, This is Spinal Tap we aimed to make this show to be Malaysia's own version of Entourage. The behind the scenes drama: Hujan band and their manager (Iedil Putra), a rockstar (Josiah Hogan) and his internationally famous band (Hot Snow), the 3 Hot Snow bandmates (Pidosan Karim, Ridzalmann and Aliff STB), the rockstar's girlfriend (Cristina Suzanne Stockstill), the web tv reporter (Nadia Aqilah) and her cameraman (Alfred Loh), the Hot Snow roadies (Nas Muammar and Kimy Najib), the schoolkids pontenging to attend the concert (Syafie Naswip and Juzzthinx), the unscrupulous concert organizer (Hansen Lee) and his assistant (Eva Emmanyna), the bouncer with a heart of gold (Megat Shahrizal), the unfulfilled host (Anita Woo) and her famous actor boyfriend (Fairil Desa).
