Mick Ebeling, a father of three, is incited when he reads an article of a Sudanese boy whose arms were blown off during a bombing of a civilian village. Ebeling hosts a 'Maker Weekend' at his home and then illegally travels to the Nuba mountains to find Daniel and share what he's learned with the locals.
Project Daniel is the story of that one doctor who refuses to leave a burdened people, the child who refuses to stop dreaming, the inventor with a conscience to clear, and what happens when an innovator on a mission refuses to acknowledge the impossible, embraces the power of creativity, and starts to change the world one story at a time, and thereby establishing, in a solar-powered hospital in an active war zone, the world's first ever 3D-printing prosthetic lab and training facility.
