The Swedish author and screenplay writer Ulla Isaksson is interviewed by filmmaker Vilgot Sjöman. She wrote the screenplay of "The Virgin Spring" (1960) that directed by Ingmar Bergman received the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film at the 1961 at the Academy Awards. Isaksson and Bergman explored a number of themes in "The Virgin Spring", questioning morals, vengeance, and religious beliefs.
