'Prem Shakti' is the love story of Madhuri and Mohan. Madhuri is the daughter of a rich landlord while Mohan is a poor farmer's son. The difference of their status becomes the hurdle in their love life. Madhuri's wedding is fixed with evil Kunal. But, Madhuri marries Mohan. Mohan is beaten up by Madhuri's family and becomes handicap. Kunal tries to kill both of them but fails. Madhuri's devotion and prayers to Lord Shiva cures Mohan and her family members accept them.
