Prem Puja' is the story of Prem, the doctor son of the village priest and Puja, the blind niece of Mr. Sarkar, the landlord's accountant. This story also shows the power of Goddess Kali. Puja is tortured and always abused her aunt. Chhoto Bahadur, the characterless landlord sees Puja and wants to marry her. But Mr. Sarkar refuses his proposal because he is aware of his notorious ways. This enrages him and Sarkar is fired from his job. Radha is thrown out of the house by her aunt and gets shelter at the priest's house. Prem falls in love with her and decide to get married. But, the landlord kidnaps Prem on their wedding day and starts torturing Radha and the priest. But, the merciful and powerful Goddess comes to their rescue. Bothe Radha's aunt and the landlord get killed and Prem is saved. Radha gets back her eyesight and is united with her love.
