A fallen stone broke the rope, the climber hanging on it fell into a crack, died of hypothermia, although he could have been found and saved. The climbers walking with him in the same bundle decided not to continue the search because of fatigue and the onset of darkness and returned to the camp. During the rescue work, the body was found.
