Ida is the daughter of a violent & Néo-Nazi father. He beats her everyday, specially in the summer of 1989, when Kristina, Ida's eldest sister, ran away from home. Every one is scared of the father. Ida is left alone. She must suffer in silence.—Biggs, Gabriel
This is the true story of Ida Beaussart. This tragedy occurs in July 1989, in summer holidays, in the north of France. Ida (Joyce Bibring) sees her elder sister Kristina (Mylene Jampanoi) run away from home. She swears not to tell anyone. Their father (Guy Lecluyse), a cruel, violent neo-nazi, can't accept this and beats Ida every day. He wants Kristina back. He calls Ida "retard", spits on her face, kicks her, punches her... Everybody is aware in town of this "abused" child case. Nobody comes to rescue Ida, until the final tragedy...
