"Placas" is a one-hour cross between "Cops" and "America's Most Wanted", but in Spanish. Half the show is made up of real ride-alongs with cops and the other half is two ten minute re-enactments of real-life crimes, shot movie-style. Show aired on Telemundo 1996 to 1999.—Anonymous
