Kim Young-joon is a philosophy major at a university. He confesses his feelings to a female classmate, but she rejects him. He takes her rejection hard. He then meets a mysterious homeless man, Kim Deuk-hwan who lives under a small bridge. Kim Deuk-hwan has also experienced rejection in love and they develop a friendship.
