An arrogant young executive must rely on the help of a grizzled, reclusive farmer to get her home in time for a holiday gathering with her estranged family. Along the way they encounter a series of mishaps including rat-infested motels, convenience store holdups, rural rabbit stalkers, and a starstruck couple from the local trailer park. They begin their three day journey across the back roads of rural United States in a restored 1952 Chevrolet truck. As they come across different hurdles on their journey the hardest is learning to reconcile their very different worlds.
