A twist of fate changes the lives of Raju, Shyam and Baburao when they get cheated by a fraudster. They must now find a way to repay a loan taken from a dreaded gangster.
Baburao, Raju and Shyam live a lavish lifestyle. A con woman Anuradha claims to be a bank manager and promises to double their money. Raju borrows 30 Lakh from Baburao and Shyam and without their knowledge sells the bungalow they are living for 50 Lakh. He takes 20 Lakh from a local goon Pappu to mark the crore figure. The trio soon find that Anuradha has duped them and is missing with their money. The three are back to live their poor lifestyle. Pappu is tortured by his boss Tiwari Seth as he had borrowed the money from him. Pappu traces the trio and takes then to Tiwari who gives them a deadline to return the money.—[email protected]
Baburao, Shyam and Raju find themselves wealthy beyond their imagination. One day, Raju finds out that he can double his wealth in 21 days, and meets with an attractive young woman named Anuradha from an agency. She tells him that the minimum investment is one crore, and Raju quickly agrees to invest this money. He also takes money from a local goon Pappu into parting with 50 Lakhs, and the rest of the money comes through by getting Shyam and Babu to sign away their respective investments. After 21 days when the trio go to collect their doubled wealth, they find that they've been scammed. Devastated, they move out of their bungalow and are now living in a shanty room in a Chawl when they get a visit from Pappu, who wants his money back, as he owes this money to Tiwari, a dreaded gangster. The trio are taken to Tiwari and plead with him, but all in vain, then they decide to stage a robbery. However, that does not go well either. It is then they find out that a rich Parsi man owns an antique gun collection that is worth more than their loss. They plan to steal these guns, and make a deal with Tiwari, however, once again Murphy's Law prevails and the hapless trio find themselves on the run from a multitude of gangsters and killers - including a man who can bite through steel and a faceless 8 foot monster - who will not stop at anything to get their hands on the guns.—rAjOo ([email protected])
Using their wits, Ganpatrao "Babubhai" Apte (Paresh Rawal), Ghanshyam "Shyam" (Sunil Shetty), and Raju (Akshay Kumar) find themselves wealthy beyond their imagination. They each have a car, a palatial house with a huge swimming pool, that Babubhai is yet to familiarize himself with, and a very easy life. Then Raju gets a phone call on Babu's phone with a scheme to double his wealth in 21 days. Raju meets with an attractive young woman named Anuradha (Bipasha Basu) from an agency Laxmi Chit Fund in Bombay's business district. She informs him that the minimum investment is one Crore, and Raju quickly agrees to invest his Rs 10 Lakhs. He dupes another man by the name of Pappu (Rajpal Yadav) into parting with 20 Lakhs, and Shyam & Babu invest Rs 10 Lakhs each.
Raju gets another Rs 50 Lakhs by selling the house without asking Shyam & Babu. After 21 days when the trio go to collect their doubled wealth, they find that Anuradha and her company have disappeared.Devastated, they move out of their bungalow and are now living in a shanty room in a Chawl. Kachra Seth is the scrap dealer of the Chawl who also deals in stolen goods. Anjali is the daughter of the Chawl accountant, and comes by to collect rent.Pappu shows up at the bungalow the next day to pick up his portion of the money but is shocked to learn that Raju has left and the bungalow is now in possession of a Parsi gun collector (Dinesh Hingoo). Pappu is shocked as he owes this money to Tiwari (Sharat Saxena), an underworld Don
Raju runs into Anuradha at a dance bar, but later cannot find her when he returns with Babu and Shyam. One day Pappu runs into the trio and is livid. He demands his money back. Pappu takes them to meet Tiwari. Tiwari wants his goons to strip everything from the trio's Chawl and bring it as collateral. But the trip manage to fool the goons and escape.Raju, Shyam, and Babu Bhaiya are about to leave the city when Raju remembers that he owes money (Rs 572) to a woman named Anjali Patekar (Rimi Sen), who had bought a bus ticket for her when he did not have change for Rs 1000. Raju had followed Anjali to pay her back, and tried to buy her corn, sweetened ice, a merry go round ride, all in an effort to give her change. But Anjali ended up paying for everything and Raju had a date with her.
The three head over to Anjali's house and are surprised to find that she is Pappu's sister. Tiwari's goons show up and kidnap Anjali because Pappu has not returned the money. Feeling guilty that he is the one who got Anjali in trouble, Raju decides that he will go to Tiwari and try to get her freed. Shyam and Babu Bhaiya refuse to leave without him and decide to stay as well. The three go back to Tiwari to ask him to release Anjali, and Tiwari tells them to bring the money, releasing Anjali.
They have to come up with the money (Rs 40 Lakhs) in 3 days. In the Chawl Raju overhears a conversation where a gang-man Munna (Johny Lever) (who is their next door neighbor) has put a spy in another gangster Nanji Bhai's (Milind Gunaji) organization. Raju finds that Nanji has kept 3-4 Crores in his secret hideout & decides to steal it.Tiwari finds out that a rich Parsi man owns an antique gun collection (of 15 guns) that is worth Crores but can't find the Parsi. Pappu remembers seeing the Parsi house with an antique gun collection who has taken over Raju's bungalow. Pappu promises to get the guns to Tiwari in 2 days.
Pappu's goons enter the house & steal the guns (they find 17 guns and 3 really old guns) but sell the 3 most valuable ones (worth Crores each) locally to Kachra Seth, who in turn sells the guns to Raju & gang who use those guns to raid Munna after he cleans out Nanji Bhai's hideout. But the loot from Munna only has drugs and no cash. They think that if they can sell the drugs to Kachra Seth (Manoj Joshi) and pay off Tiwari, they can also become rich.Kachra Seth calls Pappu since Pappu was looking for the people who bought the guns from him. Kachra Seth also takes the drugs sample to Nanji Bhai, who recognizes the stuff stolen from him.
Anjali realizes that Raju gave himself as collateral to secure her release from Tiwari. While flirting Anjal and Raju, & Babu and Shyam find Anuradha being chased by goons. They rescue Anuradha who tells them that the entire scam was hatched by Kabira (Gulshan Grover) and his close aide Chhota Chetan (Razak Khan) to get revenge on the trio and that the only reason she went along with it was that they were holding her niece hostage (Anuradha's sister (Kashmira Shah) was Kabira's gang member and part of the first film's kidnapping plot).Their money was converted to diamonds to pay the ransom, but she fled with them once she discovered her niece had escaped and hid them under a decoration of a circus train (named "Kook-Doo-Koo").
Nanji Bhai forces Kachra Seth to ask the trio to bring the drugs to his hideout.Meanwhile, Munna's men find the drugs the trio stole and take them back. Tiwari's men then reach to collect the money at the same time the trio return with Anjali and Anuradha, whom Tiwari's men then kidnap. After planning on using fake suitcases to trick Nanji Bhai into giving them money and then pay off Tiwari's loan with that money, the trio summon Tiwari and his men and Nanji Bhai and his men to arrive at Royal Circus; Pappu and his men, Munna Bhai and his men and Chhota Chetan and his men all overhear and travel to Royal Circus. The Parsi gun collector sees Munna with his guns and follows him to the circus as well, while the group of actors that drop the trio off to the circus hear about the money there and decide to follow as well.
The trio first tricks Nanji Bhai and his men with the empty suitcases and takes the money, which they open to discover it's fake. With no other choice, they decide to give it to Tiwari, hoping he will assume it's real. He does and frees Anuradha and Anjali, but after Nanji discovers the empty suitcase, he confronts the trio and gets into an argument with Babu Bhaiya, who mistakenly reveals the money is fake.Munna Bhai and his men, Pappu and his men, Chhota Chetan and his men, the Parsi gun collector and the group of actors all reach. The trio take the drugs and run away from them all as a chase ensues. During the chase, everyone hears about Anuradha's diamonds and begins to look for them, but they are strewn all over the ground in public by a gorilla.
Soon the cops reach the spot, and they arrest Tiwari, Pappu, Kachra Seth, Nanji Bhai and Chhota Chetan. Raju, Shyam, and Babu Bhaiya flee along with Anjali, Anuradha, and her niece. Raju escapes with the bag containing the three antique guns with him, not knowing the bag also has Pappu's cell phone.
Pappu informs Shyam and Babu Bhaiya that the guns are worth Rs 6 Crores, after which they try to call Raju on Pappu's cellphone. Raju, not knowing the value of the guns, attempts to throw them while Pappu's cell phone, which he discovered earlier, rings in his mouth.
