When four robots bond with a little boy, they team up with a grumpy toymaker to stop his competitor from taking over the world.

Reclusive toymaker Vandenburger Meisterburger has invented the perfect friend: Pet Robots, super-powered machines who genetically imprint with their owners, creating an unbreakable bond of friendship. He's counting on them to save the Rooty Tooty Toy Company from being taken over by the Kablam-O Toy Cartel, run by his arch-rival Ignatius Le Faussaire. But chaos erupts when four prototypes accidentally bond with a special boy named Jake and break out of the toy factory to find him! It's the adventure of a lifetime, taking the Pet Robots and "their" kid halfway around the globe to a secret underwater city -- where they discover Ignatius is building an army of robots capable of conquering the world! With danger bearing down from every side, shy, withdrawn Jake and his protective sister Michelle, must team up with the prickly, people-hating Meisterburger in order to help the Pet Robots stop Ignatius, rescue the Rooty Tooty Toy Company, and save mankind from a robot uprising!
