Valentina and her younger brother Santiago are en route to a better life crossing the Rio Grande as they leave everything behind them in their native Mexico their parents having been killed by Mexican cartel, have left them orphans but they are now desperate to build their lives on the American side of the border they are facing a dangerous journey trying to avoid border patrol officers but Valentina is intent on starting a new life with her brother and is willing to risk everything for the dream of America .—Varushka Franceschi
