Peace & Fury pays homage to the action/martial arts movies of the 80s and 90s. Jason is a mixed martial arts student who has just arrived back to the states after spending the last two years in Taiwan training. His older half brother Billy, who runs his own gym, picks him up at the airport. Jason meets up with his old sparring partner and close friend Scott. A few days into Jason's return, Scott is found dead from an apparent overdose. Jason doesn't believe that his friend would go back to his demons. However, he knew that Scott had troubles with criminals though. One being a rival gym owner Roman Santos. Santos is also a kingpin who floods the street with drugs, with the help of his enforcer and apprentice Shane. Jason confronts Santos and says that he knows he had a hand in Scott's death. Jason vows to get revenge and stop the distribution of drugs into the town. Along the way, Jason meets PI Nick Baxter. He's a veteran who fought in the war in Iraq. After a friendly fire incident got a close friend killed, he found it hard to pick up his gun. Because of a messy divorce and alimony payments, he decides to become a private detective. He's also a functional alcoholic. Nick gets hired by Scott's sister to investigate his death. Jason and Nick decided to work together to bring the truth to light. Jason also meets with Scott's sister Ruby who he had a previous relationship with. He promises her that he will find those responsible and that they'll pay for what they did to Scott. So now this mixed martial artist and ruff around the edges P.I. are about to enter into a fight of Peace and Fury!
