Summaries

Based on the true story of small-town police officer Patrolman Jose Medrano and his quest for justice. Alone, against the armies of political warlords of a violent era, his only weapons are his deadly shotgun and his dedication to duty.

The feud between the poor-but-respected Medranos and the wealthy-but-corrupt Sablantes dates back to World War II when Joaquin Sablante collaborated with the Japanese while Pablo Medrano was a guerilla leader. The feud erupts anew when Pepe Medrano accidentally shoots Rex Sablante in a nightclub and Pablo opposes Manolo Sablante's mayoral bid. Elected through fraud, Manolo has Pablo killed, which begins a string of murders and counter-murders which eventually wipes out both families.—anonymous
