Summaries

The power of love in the violent underground world of the Apaches in Paris in the early 20th century.

(Spoilers) Jerry, a wealthy American youth, without much sense of the underside of life, arrives in Paris and is immediately attracted by a beautiful girl he encounters in a Paris' Apache (underground) dive. The Girl's lover, The Cat, tries to kill Jerry in jealousy. Jerry, though wounded, survives, and The Girl moves in with him, to take care of him, so that The Cat will not be sent to the guillotine. The Girl begins to fall for Jerry, though, and as he leaves the prison, The Cat tries to choke her. Jerry has regained his strength enough to save her. The Girl shall decide between the rich American or the dashing Apache Cat. She does - and Jerry returns to America, alone. (Thanks to Jim Beaver, Ed Stephan)—Artemis-9
