Mysterious parasites invade humans by taking over their brains while maintaining a human appearance. High school student Shinichi Izumi fends off an attack, but the parasite merges with his right hand instead. As they coexist, Shinichi suspects the parasites are behind numerous murders. Meanwhile, his new teacher, Ryoko Tamiya, a parasite host, watches him closely.
