Calogero is an ordinary man who made an extraordinary choice. Sicilian, seller of slushes, one day witnesses a murder of the mafia and decides to testify. And this is how he is sent, under the witness protection program, to Sauris, in Friuli, in a village of hospitable people, but who struggle to understand. The killer he testified against became a collaborator of justice in turn and, due to an administrative error, was sent to the same location, with the same false name.
