This Panijhora Cottage is not the only miracle novel. Rather much more than that. Howrah or miraculous novels were not written in Bengali literature. One or two attempts are not worth mentioning. Standing in such a background, the Panijhora Cottage is definitely an exception. The first reason, of course, is that the length of this novel is about 40,000 words or more. The history of this oppression is again artised during the Naxal movement. This cottage was not spared from its effects. There have been two incidents of short-lived betrayal since that old time.The shadow of these terrible cursed events of the past has fallen on the present. Two friends Utpal and Atin have come to visit this boxer forest. This history woke up in a big surprise during Singh's time.
