Synopsis

Pandemos is a series of collaborative short films shot around the world and based on an idea by Diego Medvedocky and Luis Aguer, a copywriter and advertising creative; and a film director. Each short film tells a different story about the experience of confinement in different parts of the world with its own tone and from a particular point of view.

When people get isolated, amazing things happen.Thoughts seem to get louder and clearer. When peoplemanage to get together despite distance, amazingthings happen too. Like this series of short films.

Pandemos, meaning "common to all people" is acollaborative pro-bono project based on an idea byDiego Medvedocky and Luis Aguer, a writer and a filmdirector. Together they imagined a string of episodesdepicting the inner world of different charactersaround the globe, separated in context, culture, lifestyle and age, but connected by one thing: beinghumans afflicted by the social distancing consequenceof Covid-19.

This project is the result of more than a hundredpeople around the world -writers, directors, cinematographers, editors, producers, actors, musicians, sound designers, publicists, art directors- workingtogether from their homes, selflessly giving their timeand talent to find new meanings in prerecorded imagesof Alaska, explore with drones a desolated city inEurope or shoot from the mirror of their own bathroom in Latin America.

Pandemos is a choir of wills from around the globeunited just for the sake of giving voice to theseintimate soliloquies about the human condition, in thehope of finding what makes us all the same andre-knitting the thread that would connect us again.
