Together with the two human siblings, Peter and Peggy Darrow, three talking pandas named Chesty, Timothy, and Algernon race to recover the pieces of a pyramid of power before the cosmic villain Mondraggor does.

Out in space, a cosmic villain called Mondraggor tries to gain possession of the Pyramid of Power, a magic object that would give the possessor ultimate power. However, the Pyramid shatters and its pieces scatter around the planet Earth. Two American kids witness this event and travel to China to find a piece. There, they meet three talking pandas who agree to help the humans recover all the pieces. Meanwhile, Mondraggor is out to stop them as he follows their search using his power over the elements from space and his power of humans' minds on Earth.
