Synopsis

OVERLOAD is a murder mystery that engages your mind as much as chills your spine. If romance, snappy dialogue and rich characters mean more to you than a body count, if you care about who as much as who dun nit, if you like films that probe the psyche as well as the clues and if your taste leans closer to Alfred Hitchcock than Wes Craven, this is the film for you!

Shot on location in Boston, MA and Southern Vermont it starts with a surprise and holds up throughout its 1 hour 46 minute runtime. The plot has enough twists, turns, red herrings and real clues to engage any manner of sleuths.

OVERLOAD is more than a murder mystery; its a fine ensemble piece, well acted by some local and national talent.

The stakes are life and death.

Kates impressions are backward and she learns that reality is the opposite of what she has based her life on.

Hal has murdered Rachel in Boston, but he has no memory of it. Later, he kills Ted, the boyfriend Kate left behind in Boston because Hal is trying to pursue a romance with Kate. Later still, Hal kills Jaraslav because he has found out how Hal managed to arrange his airtight alibi for Rachels murder. For Hal, the stakes are not only that he would be caught as Rachel and Teds murderer, but also that he would discover he is the one who committed these crimes.
