During the dark times of the German Occupation of Greece, and Athens, in particular, a close-knit team of six Athenian bosom friends struggles to eke out an existence. However, extreme hunger, loss, and daily confrontations with the oppressive invaders take a heavy toll on their friendship, as all leave the capital to fight in the front.
