Some assembly is required, some desired. A robotic hand sets out on a journey to find itself or at least as many pieces as possible. The robot discovers a world of hands attached to things greater than themselves, which, being without a body, it cannot be a part of. This student film is told without the human face or dialogue that drives the emotion and story of so many movies. Its focus is finding acceptance in a community and wondering at our world from a new perspective.—Anonymous
