Sonia and Woody are forced to come to terms with the loss of their only son who was killed in a hit-and-run accident and the driver did not stop. Woody's grief knows no bounds and refuses to believe that the man accused of the crime is actually responsible. Over the Christmas holidays his loss becomes unbearable and his marriage starts to crumble.
