Krushna, the only daughter of Aabasaheb Deshmukh, treats the river Krushna as her mother. Just as the river flows continuously providing life to everyone in its path, Krushna, too, is ever ready to help the people who live in her village. Her blissful life, however, is shattered when her husband turns out to be a man full of vices. He cheats the poor villagers for money and even causes the death of Krushna's father. Pushed to the limits, Krushna finds strength from the river-Goddess and takes it upon herself to get her husband to mend his ways.—Everest Entertainment
