The collective consciousness of human pain has led to an unknown alternate reality wasteland. Appearing are those searching for their answers and somewhere beyond-the entity Embodiment of Angst. It is believed that this mysterious thing can save whoever encounters it from whatever pain they're undergoing. So of course everyone started battling to the death so that any which one of them may gain catharsis. With only the most hardcore and pain-ridden still standing and a Psycho in the Radio summoning reject objects to crash onto everyone they resent, the answers to pain don't wait. The use of "Angst" is repurposed as synonymous with all pain-physical, psychological, spiritual. Jacked into the Wasteland of Angst's heightened alternate reality, how each person experiences, handles, and expresses their pain is represented as supernatural traits both to their advantage and disadvantage.
