A law-abiding Rotterdam dock worker and proud grandfather.

Cor (played by Martin van Waardenberg) has become a proud grandfather to grandson Coen. Unfortunately, Cor cannot resist and when he ends up in a local football club's card tournament - while he was supposed to be looking after his grandson - he drinks a bit too many beers again. This, to put it mildly, does not earn him the thanks of his daughter. His daughter is furious and Grandpa Cor is no longer allowed to interact with his Coentje. This is how he loses his grandson... Then a plan emerges with which Cor thinks he can turn the tables on his daughter, but it backfires. Grandpa Cor is in deep, deep trouble. Will things work out between Cor and his daughter? And will Cor ever see his grandson Coentje again? That is the overarching storyline of this tale.
