In the town of Tawachi, a liquid life force called "OOZE" transfers itself through several people, as everyone in the town (and the universe) tries to catch it.

In the small town of Tawachi, fisherman Larry Swanson catches a rainbow trout that is inhabited by a liquid life force called the "OOZE" which takes over his fluids and consciousness. It is soon sought after by a conspiracy theorist, a rich copper baron, detectives, Intergalactic crustacean wizards, an end times-believing cult leader, and other strange beings. Thus begins a wacky psychedelic chase to catch the "OOZE" as the walls of reality start to cave in on itself.
