A film about a road trip from New York City to Rio De Janeiro in a 1978 VW Kombie named Betty. In September 2007, Steve, Betty and I left New York City on an adventure of a life time, traveling through Central and South America for carnival in Rio De Janeiro in February 2009. Aside from making it there in three pieces, the adventure was to be about experiencing new cultures and living the way we wanted to. An unexpected tragedy became the perfect excuse for me to not only explore the foreign lands on planet Earth, but also the untouched dreams of a boy that lay dormant within. We interviewed people about 'what's important in life' in a search for the answer within.—Anonymous
