A young, single mom, and her seven-year-old son pack up the car and head out on an extended weekend at her sister's house four hours away. As their travels take them into the isolated back roads of Louisiana, unexpected car trouble forces them to cross paths with a recently escaped convict and his wretchedly, vile sister.
