A prince visiting the U.S. falls for a commoner when he helps her. But his mother isn't pleased with the match and tries to prove that the American gal isn't suitable to be a royal bride.
Susanna (Megan Park) gladly accepts help one day from handsome stranger Nate (Jonathan Keltz) at her parents' garden store in small-town Georgia. Sparks between them fly, but when a photo of them gets leaked to the press, Susanna is in for the shock of her life, when Nate is called back home by his mother...for his coronation as King Nathaniel of Cambria.—Happy_Evil_Dude
Nathaniel, crown prince about to mount the throne of (ficticious European) Cambria spends his last 'real holiday' incognito in Georgia, guest at rich June Waller's island estate. Having gallantly rescued local gardener Susanna with a flat tire, 'Nate' offers to help out at the family nursery while her father recovers in hospital after a nasty fall. he comes clean when the press finds him, so returns home, but arranged for Waller to hire Susanna, whom he has a crush on, and invites her to attend his coronation. The queen still hopes to match him to a suitable aristocrat, preferably Lady Ginny, and to break them up by hiring June to assist famous Sir Edward Tilbury redesigning the palace's private Florentine gardens. Nathaniel shows determination to do his duty to the nation, but refuses blind obedience to hollow traditions like marrying a compatriot.—KGF Vissers
