Synopsis

"Ojos Estrellados" tells the story of ALFIL, a young man trapped in a fight against themobile telephone repeater system that considers a threat to public health. In an oppressive urban environment, ALFIL finds himself caught up in a spiral of paranoia and resistance, which tests his personal relationships and his own sanity. The narrative explores themes of desperation, resistance and the consequences of radicalization.Bishop.24 years old. He leaves school after the death of his father from cancer. This event marks him so much that he begins to look for answers tocertain questions: Why did that have to happen to his father? Why did he deserve that? Is life unfair? Is being good enough so that bad things don't happen to you? In this terrible stage he meets Orador, who leads a group to help people who have experienced this disease closely. Bishop comes to admire him, even seeing him as a substitute for the father figure.-Vice: He smokes joints (a lot) and drinks alcohol (a lot).-Character: Introverted, spontaneous, idealistic, obsessive.-Relationship with SOFIA: His girlfriend and the only person Alfil trusts. Sometimes he lies to her on social issues, since he knows that she does not share his ideals ("the end justifies the means").-Relationship with OBBI: His best and only friend. He always accompanies him in the group.-Relationship with SPEAKER: Bishop admires him. He listens to him and obeys everything he says, since he is the only one who offers him "answers" to his questions.SOFIA: ALFIL's partner. Sympathetic and concerned, she tries to maintain stability in their relationship while dealing with ALFIL's growing obsessions.SPEAKER: Authority figure to whom ALFIL of cancer self-help belongs. He represents a false voice of reason and moderation, attempting to manipulate ALFIL's destructive impulses for his own sake. benefit.OBBI: ALFIL's partner. He becomes involved in the tension between ALFIL and SPEAKER, suffering the consequences of ALFIL's impulsive decisions.
