Poppy still hasn't found what she's really good at and goes from job to job - same with dates. She's good with her nephews so she starts as a nanny for a busy widower's two kids. Halloween's coming.

Poppy finds it hard to commit to a man or a job. Her sister points out how good she is with kids, so she's hired as a nanny by a workaholic widower with two kids and teaches them how powerful and joyful love and everyday occurrences can be.—amckowen

Poppy Summerall has been unable to commit to anything or anyone, leading to her currently being unemployed after one failed job after another, and being single despite a plethora of men seemingly interested in her. After seeing Poppy interact with her twin sons Rob and Steve, Megan, her sister, believes Poppy would make a great nanny, she able to get her a job as one working for Ryan Larson, whose two children, Zoe and Zach, go to the same school as Rob and Steve. Widowed for four years, Ryan, a coder with a tech company, desperately needs someone to look after his kids as he has a imminent presentation which, if successful, would bring the company to the next level. In Poppy spending time with the Larsons, she will have many challenges both in light of herself and of the Larsons as a collective. First, both Poppy and the kids will have to find a way to commit to each other, the kids who are "anti-nanny" arguably in missing both their parents as Ryan, of late, has come home from work after the kids have gone to bed. Second, Poppy will have to find a way to get Ryan more committed to his children in terms of the time devoted, that lack of attention despite Ryan truly loving them. And third, Poppy will have to learn how to deal with the romantic feelings that she begins to have for him, and he seemingly for her, both as her employer and as she believes that he is in the beginning of a relationship with his work colleague, Abigail Morwell, who has made it clear that she is interested in him.—Huggo
