After returning to his hometown with his sick mother, Marlombrando meets his long-lost father and the Drive-in cinema where he spent his childhood. Almeida keeps the cinema up and running with the help of Paula, who takes care of the film projection and the snack bar, and Jose, an old friend of Almeida's, who is in charge of selling tickets at the box-office and tidying up the premises.
