The robber Christos Davelis is blamed by the king. The commander of the gendarmerie undertakes to arrest him. But the two men are childhood friends and the gendarme does not want to conceive. An Italian lady will be the cause for the two men to collide. She will persuade Davelis to leave in Italy, but the gendarmes will make them ambush.
