A schoolteacher arrives in town with the map to a gold mine. The lesbian dance-hall owner schemes to steal the map.

Rachel Clark is a young schoolteacher who arrives in a small western town with a map to a gold mine inherited by her late father. A local gunman named Steve Turner, who also moonlights as a lawyer, agrees to help her find it when they are attacked by bandits on the road to the town. An assortment of other people are also after the map whom include Miss Mollie, the lesbian owner of a local hotel and saloon, who hires a local thug named Red, along with cattle rustler Craig Benson and his gang of outlaws, to try to get the map away from Rachel and Steve.—Larry B.
