Summaries

The film explores the heritage of the Notting Hill Carnival, following Cyprian De Coteau, a Trinidadian living in London, as he returns to the carnival after ten years absence. Meeting Trinidadians from all walks of life Cyprian investigates whether carnival roots have been lost or merely transformed into something new. Notting Hill: 21st Century Carnival looks at the modern meaning of carnival and its place in society today.
