After accidentally receiving valuable information from a mobster at death's door, a bartender, along with the ex-Marine she's befriended, decides to step into the deal and fulfill the deadly information delivery themselves. Feeling they have a once in a lifetime opportunity to escape their suffocating lives, they hatch a plan to go to Rome and negotiate with the Mafia for the $5 million bounty that has been placed on the package. They are pursued in turn by the FBI, various factions of the Italian mob and the intended victims crew.
