The lives of four youngsters from immigrant backgrounds living in East Helsinki suburbs. Ali (Iraqi), Nedim (Bosnian), Shahin (Iranian Kurd) and Flamur (Kosovar) are old friends whose paths have gone different ways. Ali is unhappy with his place in society and has a vendetta against the Finnish system and its people. Nedim has just been released from prison and is trying to change his life around, but is unsure which path to take. Shahin has pursued academic studies and is doing well in his life. Flamur has chosen the criminal path and also seems to be doing well for himself. Through Ali's attitude towards society, he gets persuaded to gang up with Flamur. Ali's radical change in his life affects everyone around him and showcases the ups and downs of gang affiliation. In the end, Ali must once again choose which path to take.—Ali Al-Saffu
