The crime series "Nord bei Nordost" is set in Westend, a small pearl on the Mecklenburg Lake District. This is where the police officers Nina Hagen (Cordelia Wege), Tim Engelmann (David Bredin) and Felix Bittner (Franz Dina) investigate. Hartwig Schulz (Thilo Prothmann) from the human resources department of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Ministry of the Interior comes to Westend because he wants to check why three police officers are in two positions.
