In 1990, a tragedy in the quiet village of Zamayachnyi changed everything in the lives of 16-year old Katya and 20-year old Sergei when a serial killer picked Katya's sister and Sergei's fiancé to be his last victim. For the next 11 years Sergei lived and breathed only to find the killer and get his revenge, while Katya instead tried everything to forget and erase this tragic event from her memory.
