Dramatised documentary which explores the character of Jonathan Swift through his writing. Set in 1739. when Swift had been exiled to Dublin as Dean of St. Patrick's Through flashbacks traces his gradual decline into insanity, his unhappy relationships with women and his fear of sexuality. Includes dramatised extracts from some of his works, including 'Gulliver's Travels' and 'A Modest Proposal'.
