Nikita, an aspiring director with a terminal illness takes his classmates on a journey through 1990s Russia, facing harsh nature, dangerous poachers, and an ominous Mansi tribesman. Despite the hardships they find hope for the future.

The main character, aspiring director Nikita, learns about a fatal diagnosis. He has very little time left to live, so he invites three of his classmates to take a difficult journey, planned ten years ago. This adventure was supposed to be a nostalgic return to carefree school years, but it turned out to be a serious test in which the heroes will have to come face to face with the harsh nature of the Urals, a local bloodthirsty poacher, the Mansi tribe and an ominous old man, because of whom people are missing. The Heroes path is an odyssey through Russia in the 1990s, where desperate people live in harsh and unpredictable circumstances, and existential questions have paradoxical answers. Despite all the difficulties of this incredible story, our heroes will find a lasting sense of hope for a bright future.
